12/8/07 - NAWGJ: Level 7 Judges Cup Qualifier

Congratulations to the Level 7 team on a successful first meet. Held at San Jose State, the girls did an awesome job showing off their talent in all events. Now that you've gotten your feet wet, we know that you will do well at your upcoming meets. We are rooting for you!

1/11-1/13/08 - Brestyans Invitational, Medford, MA

WOW! What an exciting meet and lots of fun to boot! Although the weather was not as warm as we would have liked it to be, that didn't stop the girls (ALL levels 7-10) from bringing home the first place team awards! Additionally, there was a special award for the top scorer in each session, regardless of age division, and we brought home four of those - Natalie Mills (Level 7), Katie Osaki (Level 8), Rose Louise Fox (Level 9), and Katelyn Mohr (Level 10). Congratulations on a great first meet for Levels 8, 9, and 10 and a second one for the 7s.

For some, there was time to tour Boston, ride the "T(rain)," eat awesome seafood (Kelly's how many times?), play in snow, and at the end, scramble to rearrange flights due to the snowstorm. Ahh, memories!

2/2-2/3/08 - WOGA Classic, Plano, TX

It was another great competition-filled weekend, as the Byers' crew moseyed on over to the WOGA Classic. Congratulations to the Optionals - all teams ranked in the top 3 of their sessions. And, as WOGA is home to four-time World Champion gymnast, Nastia Liukin and Olympic and World Champion, Carly Patterson, many of the girls had the opportunity to meet, get autographs, and take pictures with them.

2/16-2/17/08 - Lights, Camera, Action! All Olympia Invitational, Los Angeles, CA

Great job Byers! Team finishes: Level 7 - First; Level 8 - Second, Level 9 - Third, and Level 10 - Second. Great meet, good weather, good food, and sightseeing...what a great mix!

2/22-2/24 - SCEGA's 2008 California Classic, San Diego, CA

Before we knew it, we were on our way to San Diego, CA. Despite the worries of keeping up on the schoolwork, the ladies performed well. The awesome team finishes included: Level 7 - Second, Level 8 - Second, Level 9 - Second, and Level 10 - First. Not bad at all!
