What an INCREDIBLE competition!!! All of our athletes did an Outstanding job, Creating a Clean Sweep for All-Around First Place Team Titles, Levels 7-10! Our Level 7's started out Friday afternoon, and from the first event on dominated the competition. With two veterans returning to lead the team, our newest additions provided solid and confident performances filling the team and stands with Byers Pride! But...this was only the beginning! The following day began with standout performances from our Level 8's! Bringing three different practicing teams together could have been difficult, but each and everyone of these athletes came together and not only got the job done as individuals, but encouraged and cheered on one another throughout the competition!! In the next session, our Level 9's began with a powerful performance on vault and carried the energy and enthusiasm through to floor where they danced and tumbled their way straight to first place! At the end of the night the pressure fell onto the Level 10's....all of the other levels had claimed first place titles, now it was up to these 4 individuals to complete a clean sweep for Byers! Knowing that you have to count the top 3 scores from each event towards your team All-Around score, there was Very little room for mistake. The four girls more than stepped up to the challenge, they leapt over every obstacle, clearly dominating the session and once again winning the All-Around Team title for Byers!!
