SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS!!! These two young ladies qualified to the 2004 American Classic which will be held March 4th - 6th at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, CA. The meet was intense with the last rotation being balance beam - both had to hit with the best routines they could do in order to qualify. They both did great routines!

(ELITE GYMNASTS ONLY)
Our Elite gymnasts, Makayla S. and Annie D. both competed at this competition trying to qualify onto the USA Gymnastics Championships. They both did extremely well and enjoyed competing with their idols.
Makalya (Junior International Elite):
She placed 12th in the all-around (she needed to place 10th to qualify to Championships).
She placed 6th on floor and also qualified to the 2004 Team Cup which was held the next
day. The Team Cup was a team competition which combined the Junior + Seniors,
Makayla's team placed 3rd.
Annie (Senior International Elite):
Annie had the toughest session!! This meet is the first step in the qualification process to
make our Olympic team and because this is an Olympic year, the competition is fierce.
Annie placed 8th on floor and 21st in the all-around (top 10 qualified to Championships).
She had a couple of major errors that she feels she can improve upon and feels she can
make it next time.

Congratulations go to both Annie DiLuzio and Makayla Stambaugh for competing at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships. It took a lot of hard work to qualify to this competition, which for both of them, was their first time. Annie, a Senior International Elite, was among all the gymnasts that were hoping to make the Olympic Trials which will be held in Anaheim June 24-26. Annie, unfortunately, did not place in the top 12 so does not get to go onto the trials but instead is extremely happy with the fact that she is among the best gymnasts in the nation! Makayla, a Junior International Elite, placed 10th which places her on the Junior National Team. As a member of the National Team, she will be provided with special benefits such as special training camps and possibly representing the United States at an International Competition.
Note: They both train at our Sacramento location ( Massie Court)
